The world’s economies are in a period of energy transition, shifting away from fossil-based systems of energy production and consumption, including oil, natural gas and coal, to renewable and sustainable energy sources with limited or no carbon emissions.
As solutions that use renewable energy sources like wind and solar, hydrogen and the use of batteries, and other potential forms of energy storage, take on an increasingly important role in enabling the world's access to clean energy, organisations are looking for ways to take an active part in transitioning away from reliance on fossil fuels.
Energy Transition Overview
Energy Transition refers to our economy’s shift from fossil-based systems of energy production and consumption, including oil, natural gas and coal, to one with limited or no carbon emissions based on the use of renewable energy sources like wind and solar, hydrogen and the use of batteries and other potential forms of energy storage.
