Challenge
75 Epping Road, Macquarie Park is a large commercial development in North Ryde’s commercial precinct. SLR has worked on a number of sites throughout the area. Our objective was to calculate reflectivity and glare from the buildings facades in the surrounding streetscape.
Solution
Our team assisted with the following:
- Conducted baseline modelling using an idealised building.
- Detailed modelling in areas that are causing discomfort of disability glare
- Provided a Development Approval reflectivity report
Impact
SLR provided design recommendations to enable the building to meet requirements associated with reflectivity and glare.
