How to write chemical equations from word equations
In these lessons, we will learn how to write a balanced chemical equation given the word equation. We have more lessons on the rules for balancing chemical equations. Sometimes, state symbols are required to indicate the physical states of the substances in a chemical reaction. The following table gives the physical states and the state symbols used in chemical equations: solid, liquid, gas, aqueous.
Is there a way to type chemical formulas more easily in Word?
Writing A Balanced Chemical Equation (video lessons, examples and solutions)
Just a quick question, how can I make Word recognize a chemical formula when typing and change it to a correct style? I know we can use autocorrect but say if I have different formulas, setting autocorrect for each formula is extremely time-consuming. Is there any way other than typing them manually using subscript as I have lots of formulas? Was this reply helpful? Yes No.

This page explains how to work out equations for simple chemical reactions. You have to get this right, because chemistry will be a nightmare to you if you find equations a mystery - it is an essential tool in understanding chemistry. Learning to write equations can take quite a lot of time when you are starting chemistry. This is one of the major hurdles in the subject.
