Motivation in the workplace is one of the most important aspects within an organization. The following study defines motivation and analyzes needs and drives which is the starting point of motivation. The following paper also outlines the role of motivation and how important is for an organization to have motivated employees. Furthermore, this study addresses several motivating factors responsible for employee motivation.
Meeting their needs is crucial to understanding the obligations and decisions one must make to keep those under their care happy. More importantly, happy workers leads to lower employee turnover, lower hiring and training costs, and more efficient production. However, one needs to find a method in which he can keep those under him happy without sacrificing too much. There are several types of motivation such as Instinct and drive motivation. These two motivations are quite similar, but different at the same time. I will compare and contrast both of these types of motivation and what I think about them.
